Hello and welcome to term three, this term our theme is 'God is with us' focusing on 'Courage'. We have also made posters with quotes and pictures on courage. We discussed how fear and courage are the same and how they are different, some of the things we came up with were, you need fear to be courageous and with out courage then we will be all sad and gloomy not wanting to try new things. Courage is standing  up and not being afraid, and fear is backing away and not facing your fears.

Maori language week

At Maori language week, we had a huge day. We did all kinds of activates. First we made poi’s, it was sort of difficult, but once we had done it one time the rest was easy. Then we made flax flowers. I wasn’t too good at it personally. But it was ok and it was hard not to step over the flax, because in the Maori culture stepping over the flax is rude. Then we did the rakau stick. We made all kinds of cool music and most of us kept hitting our nails. Then we had to say goodbye to all the parents and go home. By Liam
